After several days of running, I'm getting this error
chilli.c: 2556: Failed allocate dynamic IP address
chilli.c: 2550: Requested IP address when allready allocated
ippool.c: 376: No more IP addresses available
chilli.c: 291: Failed to allocate either static or dynamic IP address
It doesn't seem like it's reclaiming old IP addresses. The default DHCP range is defined.
Any way to fix this? I have a large influx of users coming in a week, and will need some way to deal with this.
Cheers
Re: DHCP No more IP addresses available...
can you help me get anyip working how and what
did you use mac auth is this the only way it works?
Re: DHCP No more IP addresses available...
Yes. Works fine with current released version, but not with the svn version.
Re: DHCP No more IP addresses available...
Hmm... you are using mac authentication with the Framed-IP-Address attribute to set static IP addresses and it is not working?
Re: DHCP No more IP addresses available...
Well, I've tried this a couple of times. While the problem this thread talks about may be fixed, I'm unable to test it because the MAC authentication seems to be broken.
I have one set of users that use DHCP, and another set that use static IPs with MAC authentication. Using the svn verison, the MAC authentication seems to be broken, and all users get dynamic addresses.
Re: DHCP No more IP addresses available...
I will try and download the latest svn version today and see if that helps.
Cheers

Hello,
if anyip is enable, you will see this message sometimes.
