Offsite management??

Hi I am a consultant, and I have a client looking into placing a hotspot in their Motor Inn, But here is the catch they want the Hotspot managed off site.
It this possible with Coova to have a Wireless AP onsite using there current internet connection to forward it to a dedicated server which will be administering the Hotspot?
I have heard of similar applications elsewhere but currently unsure of how to achive this.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes. But, are you talking about the access controller being off-site or just the access provisioning/portal system? Both can be done, but the former would require all the traffic from your WiFi networks to go through this one off-site server (over tunnels). It's probably best to put the access controller in the AP (like a CoovaAP), and yes, you can have your provisioning system off-site.
