Splash Page @ Coffee Shop

I have a client who owns several coffee shops. He offers free wifi to clients. Basically what he wants to do is this: Customers connecting to his wifi will be displayed a welcome page with his logo, he would also like to gather their email address, and have them agree to a TOS. I have done a little reading on the subject. He has a wrt54gv2 at the hampster location that we intend on implementing coova at... I am unsure as to what Coova Product to use for this configuration. Also any advice or links to forum post would be more than welcomed.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure how useful the collection of the e-mail address will be. You can't "verify" the address in terms of sending the user an e-mail that they have to reply to (since they can't check their e-mail yet). Thus, I think you will get 90% junk addresses. We are working on some features where users _can_ do things like check their e-mail, but they just can't web browse (though, this would rule out any web based mail users). Not sure if that will help. To begin with, I would suggest checking out the internal captive portal in CoovaAP.

To me it doesn't matter if the emails will be fake addresses. He just wants a spot for the user to input their email, so he can use them to send out coupons and such. So basically what im looking for is a splash page a TOS agreement, his logo and a textbox to gather user input and save it to a file.

This is what I'm thinking... and I don't know if it is possible or not but...

when pressing the agree button , the text input from the text box to be added to a txt file on the router or on a local smb share?

these are just things I've been playing around with...

I have actually installed dd-wrt on a few of my own routers to see what they have available. I'm basically 2 days into reading forums and installation thread to see how each works. I'm a Pro at firmware but dont have a clue how to make this splash page thing work the way i want it.
The forums here don't have a search option which kinda sucks.
I'll actually drop him off one of my routers tomorrow and take his wrt54gV2 so that i can play around with it... i'll let you know what i find out.

Sorry for the horrible punctuation, I'm in a rush to get to sleep.
