Internal Hotspot Wired and Wireless

I have CoovaAP 1.0.8 running on my linksys gl. This was the only version I could get workiing.... I am able to get the internal hotspot working in "Wireless Only" hotspot mode. It redirects and everything works great. I would also like to use simple authentication and redirection for my wired connections to this router. Whenever I switch the hotspot to "LAN & Wireless" I lose connection to the router. Neither Wireless or Wired works even with static IPs set manually. I have to reset and telnet to the router to get set back up again.

Has anyone had luck with the wired hotspot mode? My wireless network Mode is set to Access Point. Do I need to change this to bridged or something? I don't get it. Am I missing something?

Solution:

Had this problem myself and just figured it out.

On the web admin:
1st set Network -> DHCP to 'enabled' if it isn't already.

Then goto Hotspot -> DHCP and set the Dynamic IP Pool Network and netmask.

For instance, my "DHCP Network" is set at 192.168.7.0, so I set
Dynamic IP Pool Network to 192.168.7.0
Dynamic IP Pool Netmask 255.255.255.192
This should be good for approx 64 addresses. You could use a netmask of .128 if you need more.
Now both wired and wireless work. The strange thing is that the hotspot dhcp addresses are outside of the "dynamic pool," but it works.
Good luck!
