CoovaAP on an Asus WL-520GU

I would want to ask if CoovaAP can be installed on any wireless router that OpenWRT can be installed on? Asus WL-520GU is listed as a fully supported (http://nuwiki.openwrt.org/oldwiki/hardware/asus). Does this mean that CoovaAP will also run on it?

I also have the Buffalo router and was wondering if there was anything special to get this running on the router? I wouldn't want to brick my router without confirmations first.
