Hi All,
Historical setup means my UAMPORT needs to be set to 3660. I have flashed a new Picostation M2 with the latest firmware, but am unable to get the UAMPORT changed (from stock 3990). I have tried all the usual tricks, host.conf, config, hs.conf, but they ALL get overwritten on reboot. So I thought I would re-write the source file in usr/etc/chilli but they are all read-only.
If I had any hair left I would be pulilng it out ;-) anyone experienced same problem? Know a work-around or solution?
Thanks muchly
Daniel
Re:Unable to change UAMPORT on Ubiquiti Picostation M2
Hi Daniel,
If you add your changes to the etc/chilli/config as normal then exit.
If you then paste the below syntax it should force chiili to apply your changes.
/etc/init.d/chilli start && /etc/init.d/chilli stop # = apply the config /etc/chilli/config
If you type this in it will allow you to see what is going on if you ssh to the router chilli --debug --fg
Kind regards
Seb

I'm running Openwrt with Coova and I can't find where the 'original' config file is.
After a reboot etc/chilli/config is rewritten too from somewhere even when using the above (which works untill a reboot)
Anyone know what other files are overwriting etc/chilli/config ?
At the top of etc/chilli/config it states #### This conf file was written by etc-init.d-chilliconf
Which I assumed was etc/ini.d/chilli.conf... no such file though...
Is this using the firmware
Is this using the firmware talked about here?
