CoovaAAA Access Policies

An access policy defines the limitations in provisioning access.

Terminology

Name 

The unique name of the policy as seen in drop down selection boxes.

Access Time 

The amount of access time to allocate.

Access Window 

The window of time in which the access (time and data) must be consumed, beginning with the first login. See the Recurring Window option to have this window auto-renew, resetting the limitations for a new activation window.

Expiry Time 

All access time must be used before this expiry window ends. After the expiry time, no more access is granted, even with a recurring activation window. Leave blank to not expire.

Max Data Download 

Max data downloaded by client. Leave blank for unlimited data download.

Max Data Upload 

Max data uploaded by client. Leave blank for unlimited data upload.

Max Data Total 

Max data downloaded and uploaded by client. Leave blank for unlimited data transfer.

Recurring Window 

True to have the activation window auto-renew when it ends.

All time and data limitations must be whole numbers (no decimals) with the appropriate units. For instance, for half a day, use "6 hours" and NOT ".5 days".
