Step 2

Connect a computer directly wired to the LAN port of the Linksys. You should be able to use DHCP to configure your IP address. If not, set the IP address manually to 192.168.1.2 (or some IP in your LAN network space). Log into the Linksys using username "admin" and password "admin" and procedure to menu Administration / Firmware Upgrade. Select Choose File and find the firmware file you downloaded previously. When ready, click Upgrade and do not disrupt the computer or router while the firmware is loaded.
